The client is either contemplating a transaction with a major impact on current operations and strategy, or it is in a turnaround & restructuring trajectory in which continuity is at stake. At these trajectories, I spend a lot of attention together with the client and my team to the company’s strategy, structure and numbers.
However, the most important thing that I have learned in my years of experience as a consultant: ultimately, it’s the people behind the numbers and the strategy that count.
