Finding the right partner in order to realise growth ambitions.

Background

The Mauritsklinieken is a knowledge and treatment institute for dermatology. Since the first clinic opened in 2004, the organisation has grown to become the largest independent outpatient dermatology department in the Netherlands with four branches in The Hague, Utrecht and Nijmegen. The three initiators/shareholders of the Mauritsklinieken have been healthcare physician-entrepreneurs since 2001.

Customer's dilemma

In order to realise the organisation’s growth ambitions, JBR was asked to advise the shareholders with regard to finding the right partner.

Our contribution

Together with its client, JBR followed an intensive course of action that resulted in several good partner options. Waterland Private Equity was most in line with the shareholders’ objectives and was able to offer the best perspective for the Mauritsklinieken. JBR supported and advised the client throughout every stage of the process.

The result

Following a comprehensive due diligence process, a successful transaction was completed in December 2010.
