The telecoms company – a specialised airport operator – provided fixed as well as wireless voice and data services for common-use applications and such critical processes as checking-in, baggage handling and security. The shareholders, a leading telecom and airport operator, decided to end their joint-venture and carve-out those activities that were not directly related to the airport business.
